Knitwit Italian Jacquard Knit Caterina Black White is an exclusive import from Italy. It is a softer fabric and can be made into tops or cardigans. It is an easy fabric to handle and sew.
Viscose/Polyester 145cm wide Medium weight – 205gsm
Medium stretch, by which we mean 25% stretch. If your pattern is sized for a low stretch (less then 25%) fabric, you can still use it. You may need to take the garment in on the side seams after you have tried it on.
Two way stretch, by which we mean the fabric stretches in one direction only, from selvedge to selvedge.
If you need to, brush up on sewing with jersey knit fabrics.
Blunt needle warning – please remember to start every garment with a new stretch needle. Use 75/11 for fine fabrics, and 90/14 for heavier fabrics.
