Description

Knitwit Cotton Spandex Jersey is a high stretch fabric used mainly for fitted clothes and active wear such as leggings, tights, tank tops, cropped pants, leotards, unitards. It can also be used for looser garments such as t-shirts.

Knitwit Cotton Spandex Jersey is high stretch, by which we mean 50% stretch. If your pattern is sized for a medium stretch (25-35%) fabric, you can still use it, but you may need to run the garment in.

Knitwit Cotton Spandex Jersey is four way stretch, by which we mean the fabric stretches in 2 directions: from selvedge to selvedge and also lengthways. If your pattern is sized for a two way stretch fabric, you can still use it.

90% Cotton/10% Spandex          150cm wide         Lightweight 190gsm        Country of origin – Australia

By the way, Spandex is the preferred name of spandex fibre in the US. It is known in Europe as elastane, and in the UK and Australia as Lycra®. Spandex is actually an anagram of expands.
